When people ask me what its like to live with Cerebral Palsy, I tell them I don’t really know, because I don’t know what its like to not have CP. Having CP has taught me to adapt and overcome like nothing else in my life. For years I worked to be accepted by others, mainly peers who didn’t know how to interact with me.

I had to learn that sometimes, others will not accept you no matter what you do. I learned that you have to be comfortable in your own skin. And you will naturally draw people to you because you make them comfortable and relaxed, and able to be themselves around you.
